Hi, I’m so glad you’re here! I transitioned into the role of Community Prevention Specialist in March 2023. Since then, the Wapato Wellness Coalition has focused on building new partnerships and strengthening previous ones.

My passion lies in removing barriers that prevent our youth from living to their fullest potential. Prevention Education plays a huge factor into this. I believe all youth and their families deserve the adequate tools and resources to thrive. This work can only be done through a united community!

Hello, my name is Cristin. I have been with the Wapato School District since 2021. I oversee the Student Assistance Program at the Wapato High Schools, and Middle School. This program is intended to offer prevention and intervention services to students.

I find it valuable that all students have support systems to help them as they are maturing and navigating through life. As students are making big choices and decisions, I feel like it’s important to provide them with the proper tools and guidance to make healthy choices that will help them become successful adults.
